Wrongtom Meets Deemas J - Jump + Move + Rock
7 Views • Sep 16, 2012
Description
Spanning over a decade, Tom’s career has covered a colourful patchwork of styles from Dancehall to Indie-Pop with the likes of Rockabilly, Dub, Ghettotech and Free Jazz filling the gaps in between. Starting out as a percussionist playing on records for Bob Jones’ Black On Black label and Kingsize Records, Tom soon taught himself to produce with some hand-me-down analogue gear and a cracked copy of Cubase, his early productions bridging the gap between new school breaks and old freestyle-electro records.
Deemasj or MC Deemas j started with Reggae music when he was very young. He used to do things with small reggae sound systems in and around london .Then he moved on to the drum and bass scene ,where he kept his reggae style .After a couple of years he started releasing funk and house tracks .It wasent untill about six and a half years ago he went back to his roots and joined a reggae sound system in Germany called Bombastic sounds where he flies back and forth to perform Reggae and D&B . he also spend time back and forth to other parts of Europe doing Reggae, Drum and Bass, and vocal House. Not many vocalists and MC's have made the cross over that he has and been recognized in the wide range of music that he covers.
