It was a major faux pas at the end of the Miss Universe pageant. Host Steve Harvey announced that Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo, was the winner. He returned to apologize and name Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, the winner. (Dec. 21)
