WRONG EYE SURGERY PROBED BY SWRHA

The Health Minister says the South West Regional Health Authority has investigated an incident involving a minor, who allegedly had the wrong eye surgery done at the San Fernando General Hospital.

And, the Minister says the Health Ministry is actively engaged in learning whatever it can from the incident to prevent it from happening in the future.
