WRONG APPROACH TO GAUGING ENGLISH PROFICENCY?

Retired University Professor Theodore Lewis is of the opinion that a pass in English A isn't the only way to gauge the proficiency of students in English.


He also believes that unless there is equality in the standard of education offered in primary and secondary schools, the focus placed on passing examinations will not change.
