STORY: Amateur video said to be shot in the Syrian town of Deraa on Friday (June 15) shows people with bloody wounds covering a tiled floor as the shouts of people trying to help them echoed in the background.
Reuters is unable to verify the contents of the videos, which were obtained from a social media website.
Last week activists said 18 people were killed in shelling in Deraa, among them women and children.
The videos come as the chief United Nations monitor in Syria said both rebels and forces loyal to President Bashar al-Assad are intensifying violence and striving for military gains rather than a peaceful transition.
