Would You Put Windows XP on a New PC?

He wants to put Windows XP on a newer machine but keeps receiving a BSOD every time he tries. He prefers XP over Windows 7 when it comes to customization. The modern hardware he's trying to use just doesn't want to use an operating system that is older and slower.
