Description
The fourth day of Navratri is dedicated to the Goddess Kushmanda. Being the fourth manifestation of Goddess Durga, she is worshipped on this auspicious day. The word 'Ku' means little, 'Ushma' means warmth and 'Anda' refers to the cosmic egg. Thus, as her name suggests 'the cosmic egg', she is considered to be the creator of the earth.
