World is overweight

A report released by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) says that the world's weight problem is growing and that it has become an "epidemic." Mexico and the US top the fat list Mexico with 70% of the population overweight and the US with 68%. New Zealand come sin 3rd followed by Australia, Britain, Ireland, Canada, Chile and Iceland all with overweight populations higher than 60%. At the bottom of the list come, the thin nations of South Korea and Japan with 24 and 31%. 48% of Israelis are overweight which according to the report is 2% thinner than the global average. As for obesity 14% of Israelis are obese. the US has an obesity rate of 34%. The global obesity average is 16%. Skinny Japan has an obesity rate of only 3%.
