In today's live session, I'll discuss work done by constant force and variable force.
The work W done on an object by a constant force is defined as W = F·d. It is equal to the magnitude of the force, multiplied by the distance the object moves in the direction of the force.
The work done by variable force formula is : W =F(x).dx. Integration is used in the calculation of the work executed by constant forces. The same integration method used to calculate the work executed by the variable force may also be used to calculate the work executed by the constant force.
Work is referred to as the process of energy that is transferred to an object's motion by applying force. It is generally represented as the product of displacement and force. Power is the amount of energy that is transferred in a unit of time. The SI unit of work is Joule (J).
In physics, work is the energy transferred to or from an object via the application of force along a displacement. In its simplest form, for a constant force aligned with the direction of motion, the work equals the product of the force strength and the distance traveled.
