Witnesses testify about Murray's character

Dr. Conrad Murray's trial for involuntary manslaughter continued on Wednesday (October 26) as the defense called several of his former patients to the witness stand.
Murray's treatment of heart patients at his practices in Las Vegas and Houston was the focus of testimony - where he was painted as being a competent and caring doctor.

"If this man had been greedy, excuse me judge. If this man had been greedy, he never would have come to an area, or community, of Acreage Home, 75 percent of them poor, on welfare and social security where he was making less than where he was in Vegas."
The hearing got emotional at times, with Murray appearing upset and wiping his eyes as he listened to his former patients. He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
