Walking empty halls
Its always the same
I need to sleep but I am unable
Endless thoughts cloud my mind
Maybe thats why sleep evades me
Sleep never crosses the threshold to my mind
Always an endless and meandering routine
What are these thoughts that seem to hide me from sleep?
That is a question I will never answer
My mind is my only haven
My only escape
I want to sleep but alas I cannot
I need to sleep but I am unable
I am doomed to midnight walks
Through empty halls
An endless evasion of sleep and dreams
