Wingy Manone-Barrett Deems
Description
Unknown titles Manone 1951
In this clip made in 1951 we see and hear the Dusty Rhodes Dixieland Band. Next to Wingy Manone on trumpet famous drummer Barrett Deems is being featured. I notice that Barrett in his show feature would walk away from his set and continue drumming on chairs and floor.
In my career I have seen other drummers doing this, including our own 1975-76 drummer Steve Tattersall. Now I realize where Steve got this from!
