This is a video showing the different heat reflective properties of different Lo-E coatings.
We start out at 300 BTU’s with a single strength insulated glass, knocks it down to 200 BTU’s from 300. Second unit is a double strength standard Lo-E, it knocks the BTU’s down to 150 (BTU’s). The third unit is a double strength glass with a green heat absorbing tint with Lo-E, and it takes it down to 100 BTU’s. This is a Lo-E 366, it was developed for high end replacement windows, it knocks the BTU’s from 300 down to 3.
