William Jackson - F8 And Be There.

Through the eye of the camera I once captured the world.
Then photography seemed an art, a mystery to be revealed.
'What's the secret? ' I used to ask Mr. Tommy Suits.
He would reply, 'F8 and be there. Spontaneity counts! '

Now I see the world in deeper shades of gray than ever.
It's not Kodachrome; it's not a black and white existence either.
Life is a blend of white and black swirls
I now paint with poetry or with prose.

Still, like a photo, a poem represents a life within a life
- more or less.
