Like whispers – lost in a gust
voiceless moon slowly slips behind shroud of cloud
The whispers – revelations of our thoughts
the moon – a revelation of our stars
As we ponder the morrow with mood of today
we project the possibility of our dreams
Dreams that penetrate into the veil of universe
to manifest as our reality - no matter how perverse
Thus the human drama, or, shall we say dilemma
as horrendous and unbelievable as it may now appear
Stands before us as a collective dream – a dream wished
come true
and not as some manifestation of a wild witch’s brew
Like children, we find ourselves lost in foreign forests
filled with fear of things we see, read, think, and hear
As a cacophony of prescient dreams reflect ancient madness
with plagues, pollution, pestilence, flood, war, financial failure
Making us gawk like little ones lost in our circular dumpster
where we pretend not to see the big mobster monster
A monster slowly raising its ugly shadow across land and sea
laying waste to a superior dream wrought from our dawn
Ever so slowly we awaken – to comprehend the key to our destiny
and in horror – witness the world waiting behind locked door
As we capture glimpses through keyhole of old prophecy foretold
lurking beneath bed of a worried worldly whore
