Will Perry's Orchestra - What Do You Say?

Rust classifies the present side under Ted Wallace, but surprisingly on this session Ed Kirkeby (Wallace was one of the pseudonyms used by Kirkeby) may not even be involved. Many different musicians are mentioned as forming part of the "collective personnel" (actually it features an impressive array of dozens of great jazzmen), except for Ed Kirkeby! In fact for this particular side no specific personnel is known, not even the vocalist. However, although the uncredited vocalist's voice timbre sounds like Kirkeby, which would explain a lot and make these credits significantly more logical. Whoever is playing, this is a brilliant performance, recorded in 1928.
