Will He Make It

Will he make it someone asked me
We went deep down into the tunnel and the sea
Of people following up the stairs and the division
Of thousands based on their clothes decision
And where they’re from and what colors they prefer

One questions and makes us get up
They tell us we are holding the wrong cup
He pulls out some papers and realizes they’re right
His hands were always sore, broken, and white
Because he’d never let walls stand the way they were

He’s tired of standing in lines so gives up his things
Back in the car we discover he’s stolen all the wings
When his name is run the security panics
His father was on a list of the real manics
He left me riding alone because he was chasing something else

He was laughing at conspiracies making people so mad
Will he make it with all the things he’s had
I quit because I’m tired of being a jerk
Then he takes a long drag and gives a smirk
Then he disappeared behind all the smoke
