Will BJP-JD(U) split?

India News: JanataDal (United) is likely to announce parting of ways with the BJP on Saturday, after both parties refused to budge from their positions over the projection of Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi as the prime ministerial candidate of the main opposition. While JD (U) leader and Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has conveyed to BJP president Rajnath Singh that he has no option but to snap the 17-year-old ties, the BJP leaders have made it clear that the issue of Modi's elevation is non-negotiable.
