WILFRED JOHN - I lose concentration

I lose concentration
Thoughts of her constantly stream through my head.
My mind and heart race in agreement.
I lose concentration on all things around me,
And am consumed by the very thought of her.
My whole being screams out - only for a taste,
A show of affection, a glance my way.

Anything to say that I am not alone in this love.
Anything to say that I am not imagining things.
Anything to say that I am not deceived.
But feelings can never force a change in my reality.
A future with her is all I see,
Yet when reality strikes,
A future with her I know can never be.
