wild fire - untitled... basically a teachers perspective

From finger paints of reds and greens,
To shades or yellows and blues,
From markers to crayons and
Infinite “Teacher, I love you’s”.

From shapes and numbers,
To sharing and friends,
From packing their own lunches,
Hoping the day never ends.

From “Teacher, come help me, ”
To bathroom breaks galore,
From music to cooties,
They come back for more.

From the joy of all of them,
To the eagerness to learn,
From loving the crafts,
To being nice but stern.

My treasures they are,
What joy to bear!
To educate so many hopefuls,
I can’t wait until next year!
