No one likes hearing that this wonderful convenience might be hazardous to their health! And, it’s everywhere we go these days, so it’s hard to avoid. Yet wireless routers constantly generate a cloud of microwave radiation throughout an entire home–a field that research tells us is a health risk.

It’s true there is scant long-term research done on the health effects of WiFi, simply because it is still a relatively recent phenomenon in our environment. However, there has been plenty of research done on other sources that emit the same kind of radiation–and much of the research concludes that this radiation is indeed dangerous.

Research on WiFi Health Risks

One comprehensive report is the Bioinitiative Report of 2007, which concludes that numerous health issues, including DNA breakage and cancer, are created by exposure to radiation. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Toxicology Program have also concluded that among other things, radiation can significantly increase the risk of glioma, a deadly brain tumor.

In other literature, it is reported that WiFi radiation commonly causes such symptoms as fatigue, irritability, headaches and digestive disorders. And long-term exposure to radiation has been linked with many serious diseases, including cancer.
