Why Should Screen Time for Kids Be Controlled?

Screen time in kids has become a hot topic as technology plays a central role in their daily lives. While screens can offer educational content and entertainment, excessive use can lead to various health issues.

According to IAP (Indian Academy of Paediatrics) guidelines, for children below the age of 2, no screens should be allowed. From age 2-5, the screen time limit for kids is up to 1 hour, and for 5-10-year-olds, 2 hours of screen time is recommended.
