Why Puzzles Are Good for Your Child's Development

Puzzles are good, in the sense that they force you to think!
The most common puzzle games for kids are the jigsaw puzzles, tiling puzzles that are made by painting a landscape picture on wood and then cutting with a ‘jigsaw’.
According to the Alzheimer Society of Canada solving puzzles helps keep the brain active and reduces the risk of developing degenerative diseases later on in life.
Although puzzles greatly benefit everybody- from removing boredom of retired individuals to helping a job seeker in preparing for an interview, the scope of this article is limited to the benefits as related to kids.
