Why not make CBI independent, asks Kejriwal
Description
The Cabinet today approved the amendments to the Lokpal bill that the Rajya Sabha select committee suggested. The Lok Sabha has already passed the bill that is pending in the Rajya Sabha. The bill was then referred to a select committee of the upper house, that suggested the amendments to the bill. The bill will now be put to vote in the Rajya Sabha. NewsX reporter Molly Gambhir caught up with Aam Aadmi party's convenor Arvind Kejriwal on his reaction to the Union cabinet clearing the Lok pal bill.
