Social activist and irrigation scam whistleblower Anjali Damania's revelations has jolted the NCP and plunged the BJP headlong into a massive controversy. The man in the crosshairs, BJP President Nitin Gadkari chose to remain silent but sent a legal notice to Damania for alleging that he had tried to cover up the irrigation scam when she approached him, and demanded an apology from her. On the other hand Damania said she is ready for to fight a legal battle against Gadkari.
