Why is Govt adamant over implementing Agnipath scheme?

The protest against the 'Agneepath' scheme did not only ignite anger in Bihar, the students were angry even in UP's Ballia. The unemployed burnt the train here too. Today, youths are struggling for getting a job. Like Jeet Kumar and Rupesh Gaur, lakhs of youths live in the villages of our country who cherished the dream of joining the army by running 20 km every morning. They used to think that they would take out the recruitment which gives permanent career. But the scheme launched for four years. Now, there is outrage among the youth.
