Why is Dogecoin Falling Again?
Description
Dogecoin is down almost 10% in early trading as the markets reacted to Vladimir Putin’s move to occupy separatist regions of Ukraine. DOGE fell in tandem with apex tokens like Bitcoin and Ethereum, but it was still one of the most-mentioned tokens on Twitter ($TWTR@US). However, this sort of popularity doesn’t seem to provide Dogecoin with any value. Meanwhile, Sling TV said it would start accepting Dogecoin through the BitPay platform. Moreover, Quincy University in Illinois is planning to accept Dogecoin donations. As the global crypto market cap fell, Dogecoin lost value against Bitcoin and Ethereum, dropped nearly 15% in the last week, and lost over 8% in the past month. At press time, Dogecoin has fallen to 12.99 cents, down almost 4% on a steep increase in volume and a drop in its market cap.
