Just as there's no such thing as an anti-malware app that works 100% independently from human interaction for its best results, trusting a computerized GPS (global positioning system) to get from point A to point B may get you into trouble if you don't have a backup plan if something goes awry. On a recent trip to Australia, a group of students from Japan found out just how dangerous putting full faith in a GPS system can be — and almost didn't live to tell the tale!
