Why Do We Fall Asleep? | Science | Reasoning-
“SLEEPING ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE HELPS YOU FALL ASLEEP FASTER THAN SLEEPING ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE”.
Reasons-
The homeostatic sleep drive process to the sleep based on the amount of time we are awake and how much energy we are expanding.
The adenosine binds to adenosine receptor during waking hours.
The more you do and the longer you awake, the more adenosine you accumulate, makes you feel tired after a walking.
While you sleep, this chemical is broken and adenosine level decrease.
Therefore, scientist feels that adenosine is the way the body keeps the track of how much sleep you have got, and how much sleep you need.
