Ever since the spread of Covid-19, people all over the world have been panic buying on goods, such as sanitisers, surgical masks, food, and toilet paper.
Long queues were spotted in several local supermarkets too on the day when rumours of Government imposing a ‘lockdown’ were flying around.
The Star spoke to a psychologist to weigh in on why our brains trigger us into panic buying.
