Why Did Cisco Kill Flip Video Cameras?

This is a tough question, especially when you take into consideration just how important competition is to the market as a whole. In the case of the Flip camera, picture and sound quality just wasn't there when compared to equally-priced pocket camcorders in its class. Further to that, smartphones have improved considerably, giving users immediate access to quality video recording with a device that is already kept with them at all times.
