ग्रेटा का यह सफर शुरू हुआ जब उन्होंने स्वीडिश संसद के बाहर पर्यावरण के मुद्दे पर प्रदर्शन शुरू किया.
धीरे-धीरे ग्रेटा हर शुक्रवार को स्कूल से छुट्टी लेकर स्वीडिश संसद के बाहर प्रद
र्शन करने लगीं.
उन्होंने अपने देश के सांसदों का ध्यान जलवायु परिवर्तन पर आकर्षित करने को मुद्दा बना लिया.
उनसे प्रेरित होकर दुनियाभर के स्कूल छात्र-छात्राओं ने भी प्रदर्शन किए.
