Who Do You Run For? | Mary Kay

The MK5K is an annual event benefiting The Mary Kay Foundation℠ and a day that all of us Dallas-based employees look forward to every year – we get to bring our pets up to the building and there’s even a pancake breakfast complete with bacon and fresh OJ!

But the MK5K is about more than just bacon – it’s about bringing IN the bacon for two very important causes – funding research for cancers affecting women and ending domestic violence. Both of these causes were top of mind on race day with a number of teams formed in support of these issues. One such team was “Running for Ramos” a group of family, friends and co-workers who have rallied in support of the team’s namesake, Jessica, who is battling breast cancer while pregnant with her first baby.
