I try to forget
When you are not around I try to live
I know
Soon you are going to leave
I try to ignore
That what I am feeling is real
I know
One day it's going to disappear
I try to fake
The smile when you look at me
I know
There is a tear deep inside of me
I try to remember
Everything you say and do
I know
You can’t be true
I try to be
The person you once loved
I know
Some way we, both, have changed
I try to pretend
That your heart is mine
I know
It hurts to think otherwise
