Whisky.com tastes the Royal Lochnagar Selected Reserve. The Royal Lochnagar distillery got its 'Royal' from Queen Victoria in 1948. It even was repeated twice by the Royal family.
The nose:
Full nose, sherry, dark fruits, oakiness, vanilla. Very intense for 43% ABV
The taste:
Full impact. Some spiciness, sherry and nutty with a creamy feeling in your mouth.
The finish:
Long with no bitterness at all.
