Whisky.com tastes the An Cnoc rutter. An Cnoc is not famous for its peated whiskies. This is one of the few peated malts from the Knockdhu distillery.
The rutter is the spade to cut the peat, so it is slow burning.


The nose:
A balance between mediocre peat smoke and fruitiness. Some spices appear.
The taste:
Strong but not intrusive. Some peat smoke and fruitiness with apples. It works quite well together with the nosing.
The finish:
not to long but well balanced.
Peat level: 11ppm
