Whiskey Tasting: Johnnie Walker Double Black

Whisky.com tastes the Johnnie Walker Double Black. The "Double Back" reminds very much of the "Black Label". But this blend is a bit smokier than the normal "Black Label".
The casks have been deeply chard. This takes out the sharp alcoholic notes from the spirit.

The nose:
dried fruits and a faint peat smoke
The taste:
citric notes and some bitterness, a bit of smoke
The finish:
dry and long for a blend
