Description
The intention for the obligatory fast of Ramadan should be made at night, from after sunset until before Fajr. If it was not made at night, it may still be made before midday, provided nothing has been eaten or drunk since the morning.
Remember: Niyyah is the intention of the heart. It is not necessary to say it verbally, though saying it is better.
Watch this short reminder and make sure your fast is valid.
