What is Spleef?

Spleef is a minigame within Minecraft that can be played by a group of players, each armed with a shovel. The players have a limited field of play in which they attempt to dig below opponents in order to drop them into a lava pit located hundreds of feet below.

In this video, we join the Gnomies for a game of Spleef that took place Friday night on the private Minecraft server.
