What is a Trigonometric Equation ?
Trigonometric Equation: An equation containing at-least one trigonometric function is called a trigonometric equation.
What are Different Types of Trigonometric Equation ?
There are two types of trigonometric equations,
1) Identity:
A trigonometric equation which is true for all real values of
variable within the domain of involved trigonometric functions
is called an identity.
2) Conditional Equation or Equation:
A trigonometric equation which is true for specific real values of
variable within the domain of involved trigonometric functions is
called a conditional equation or simply an equation.
Examples:
1) sin⁡=0
2) cos⁡=1/2
3) sin +cos=0
