What is an Ectopic Pregnancy ?

Very rarely, the fertilized egg may implant itself outside the uterus, usually in the fallopian tube. This is called an ectopic pregnancy.Most symptoms are the same as that of a normal pregnancy. However, if you have intense pain in the lower abdomen or bleeding even after the pregnancy test shows positive, consult your doctor immediately.
