Electrocardiography studies the electrical activity of the heart during rest.
The patient is in a supine position.
The applied electrodes at the wrists, ankles and chest are connected to a recording device.
The graphs obtained on paper are analyzed by the doctor.
This examination allows you to identify abnormal heart rhythms and signs of coronary insufficiency.
An electrocardiogram is also needed to monitor the progress of treatment for heart disorders.
