There are three standard field sobriety tests that NHTSA the national highway and traffic safety administration stand behind. The first is the horizontal gaze nystagmus test (the pen waving in front of your face) the second is the walk and turn test. (Where you take 9 steps down and turn around and come back.) And then the third is the one leg stand where they make you balance on one leg for thirty seconds. I like to call them coordination exercises.
