WFH during flood

Salvacion Caunsag, a call centre worker in Cavite, Philippines, stayed on a video call with a customer on 22 July, even as floodwater filled her room.

Seated on her chair with a headset on, she continued working while the water rose to her knees.

Once her shift ended, she packed up her computer and work equipment and moved them to higher ground.

The flooding followed heavy rains brought by Typhoon Wipha, which killed at least 34 people and displaced thousands.
