Wendy Howard sentenced to time served, probation

In October 2022, a Kern County jury found Howard not guilty of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, and other lesser charges. However, they deadlocked 7 to 5 on the charge of voluntary manslaughter in the heat of passion. On May 4, Howard was sentenced to time served and probation on that charge. 23ABC's Brianna Willis was at the courthouse and reactions from Howard's lawyer and supporters.
