Wednesday's market roundup

After going through some hiccups this week,.. Wall Street was up on the last day of January.
Shares gave up earlier gains to trade flat after the Federal Reserve,.. said it sees inflation rising this year, signaling it remains on track to raise the key rate again in March.
The Dow Jones closed up 75-points or a little less than zero-point-3 percent at 26,149-point-3-9-- up nearly 6-percent over the month of January.
The S&P 500 finished higher at 2,823-point-8,... and the tech-heavy Nasdaq went up over one-tenth-of-a-percent at 7,411-point-4.
Shares in Korea fell on Wednesday,... with the benchmark KOSPI sliding one-point-3 percent at 2,566-point-4-6.
The junior bourse KOSDAQ was down a bit too,... losing less than one-percent,... but still finishing the day above the 900 mark,... at 913-point-5-9.
