Web Serial - Challenges facing LGBTQ communities

Today's edition of Web Serial addresses challenges facing LGBTQ communities. The program begins with the story of Livia and Fernanda, two women in Brazil, one with two children, who live together and how they dealt with the issue of being a family. Then it's on to Nicaragua, with its traditionally conservative and religious society, in which "coming out" can be difficult, even though the situation is changing for the better. We end the program in Spain, which even though gay marriage is the law, LGBTQ families still experience administrative or legal difficulties, although progress is being made on this and other fronts. teleSUR
