We need a Coroner's Act, say NGOs
Description
73 non-governmental organisations today put their signature on a demand for the immediate investigation on the recent death of North Klang Port assistant Customs and Excise director, Ahmad Sarbani Mohamed at the MACC Kuala Lumpur office on Jalan Cochrane.
The NGOs called on the government to immediately implement the recommendations of the Parliamentary Select Committee on the Penal Code and Criminal Procedure Code, which among others proposed such a law.
