We Are Augustines was haunted by setbacks

Rise Ye Sunken Ships, the debut album of We Are Augustines, was released in the summer of 2011 in the US and in the spring of 2012 in Europe. The American rock band was founded after the 2009 breakup of the previous group of singer/guitarist Billy McCarthy and bass player Eric Stevenson, Pela, that was haunted by setbacks. "Maybe we put too much passion and energy into it", McCarthy says.
