Russia and North Korea open memorial complex for Kursk region liberation

Images released by the Russian Ministry of Defense showing Kim Jong Un, leader of North Korea, and Vyacheslav Volodin, Russia's parliamentary speaker, unveiling a memorial complex in Pyongyang dedicated to the liberation of the Russian region of Kursk. "It is a great honor for us to be in Pyongyang," says Vyacheslav Volodin. Pyongyang has sent thousands of soldiers, as well as missiles and ammunition, to support Russia's war against Ukraine.
